They say it comes in threes. First it was Frank Francisco, then it was Carlos Almanzar. Now it’s Ryan Bukvich. He needs Tommy John surgery, and will be out for the year.

Now I worry about there being a link to coaching/spring training techniques.
I remember a few years ago when it seemed every reliever had an elbow problem coming out of spring training. There was a pitching coach they fired (the guy that followed Dick Bosman?) over a personality conflict (as they said).
I hope there is not something in the system that is causing this. I really like Orel; he’s getting them to throw strikes finally. But this is starting to not sound like a coincidence.
